WHAT IS THE HOLY BIBLE
The Holy Bible is a holy library. It is not a single book but rather a collection of many sacred books. It is more than scriptures; it contains history recorded by many authors.
It spans from 4000 BC to about AD 95. The Old Testament foretells the coming of Jesus Christ, while the New Testament describes Jesus’s birth, life, death, and Resurrection.
Both books tell of His life, mission, and sacred role as the Son of God and Savior of the World. Latter-day Saints believe in the Bible as other Christians do.
They treasure the Ten Commandments and the words of Christ.
